RESPIRO challenges you to manage complex clinical cases requiring prolonged artificial ventilatory support. Whether youre a respiratory therapist, respiratory therapy student, physician or medical student, youll enjoy the challenge of solving cases in a realistic 3D environment. CLINICAL PRACTICE
Once youve taken the patients history, youll be asked to carry out a complete assessment of the patients health status. Following your assessment, you will be asked to optimize ventilatory management. You will be asked to choose an intervention from the options offer. You will then be able to assess the patients clinical condition once your intervention has been done.
PERSONALIZED ASSESSMENT
At the end of each clinical case, you will receive feedback of your interventions to optimize mechanical ventilation. A satisfactory feedback will enable you to move on to the next clinical situation. Go through the case as many times as you like and increase your mechanical ventilatory management skills. Have fun!
Note that in Quebec, a prescription (individual or collective) is required by the respiratory therapist before making any changes to ventilatory parameters.
